Due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic and the internal safety protocols adopted, training and skill-building courses for São Salvador Alimentos employees are now being conducted online, as well as most team meetings. The SESMT guideline is to avoid crowds within the company.

Job interviews are also being conducted remotely to reduce the flow of people in SSA units. The company has hired digital platforms to be able to provide mandatory courses for employees and also enable online meetings. The few face-to-face meetings are held in a naturally ventilated environment, with a minimum distance of 1.8 meters, as recommended by health authorities.

Virtual training has also been provided to employees on safety measures to prevent contamination with the new coronavirus, with instructions on mask use and good hygiene practices.
