The same care and rules that are followed by employees of São Salvador Alimentos are also applied to suppliers and outsourced workers who serve the company. Safety protocols are being integrated with third-party companies that serve SSA to strengthen the fight against Covid-19 throughout the production chain.

These partner employees can only enter SSA units with authorization from the Specialized Service in Safety Engineering and Occupational Medicine (SESMT). For this, they undergo screening that includes health history, temperature measurement, and mandatory use of safety equipment.

If they come from other states, these outsourced workers must present a test proving non-contamination before leaving the city of origin, comply with a seven-day quarantine in the city where they will provide services, and present a new negative test for Covid-19 after the quarantine. Access of truck drivers to the cafeterias has been restricted and the cabins of the vehicles are sanitized before the valet’s entry.

The managers of outsourced service contracts are being instructed on the measures adopted by SSA and alerted to the responsibility of aligning their protocols, as well as instructing their employees on best practices to avoid contagion.
