São Salvador Alimentos has limited the occupancy of vehicles that transport the company’s employees to 50% of the seating capacity. This measure is one of the more than 90 that make up the Contingency Plan to combat Covid-19.
Vehicles must preferably operate with windows and hatches open and, if it is unavoidable to use air conditioning, internal air recirculation mode is not permitted. The filters of the vehicles’ cooling system are being replaced periodically and bactericidal products are applied.
Employees now use pre-fixed seats to allow for mapping of possible contacts in case of eventual contamination. Entry onto the vehicles is only allowed with the use of facial masks and the buses are completely sanitized at the end of each trip.
