Where it all began

For nearly 50 years, we have been present in the Brazilian market, bringing quality and trust to our customers. Our products are managed and processed with cutting-edge technology, following all health and safety criteria. We emerged in the heart of Goiás, and now we are present worldwide. We strive to constantly improve, always keeping an eye on trends and what the consumer needs.

1973

Carlos Vieira builds the first broiler chicken houses in Itaberaí-GO.

1981

Beginning of the partnership between Carlos Vieira and Zé Garrote, which would later result in the creation of Abatedouro São Salvador Ltda.

1991

Inauguration of the processing plant and launch of the Super Frango brand.

1997

Inauguration of the Feed Unit.

2000

Acquisition of grain warehouses.

2005

Conquest of the international market.

2008

Inauguration of the hatchery.

2011

Export to Europe and launch of the sausage line.

2012

Change in the social structure of São Salvador Alimentos S/A.

2014

Launch of the Boua brand.

2015

SSA enters one of the largest markets in the world with the export compliance certification for China.

2016

SSA further expands its structure with the inauguration of the Fertile Egg Production Unit and the new Rearing Matrix!

2018

Acquisition and renovation of the Nova Veneza Slaughterhouse with activities planned for 2020. SSA enters one of the largest markets in the world with the export compliance certification for China.

2020

Inauguration of the second processing plant in the city of Nova Veneza-GO.

2021

Inauguration of the Maternal Feed Factory in Itaberaí-GO.

2022

Inauguration of the processed food factory.
